Rita Ora has had a pretty busy year, but she's showing no signs of slowing down...

In an interview with Self magazine, the 24-year-old revealed that she is on a bid for "domination", explaining that she likes to "dream big".

Musically, fans are currently waiting for Rita's second studio album, which is as yet untitled and scheduled for release in early 2016.

"I'm treating this as if it were my debut," she said. "It's like I'm starting from scratch. This is the first time everyone will see who Rita Ora is."

Having released her first album Ora in 2012, Rita said that it was all about pushing out a record, rather than honing into her abilities as an artist.

"Artistically, I felt like when I first got signed, it was a race," said Rita. "I was just trying to please everybody, not realising that it really should be about knuckling down to who you are as an artist."

Rita considers herself a singer first, but she has never limited herself to one profession. She designs her own Adidas Originals range, and has landed movie roles in The Fast and the Furious and Fifty Shades of Grey.

The former Voice UK judge also landed herself a job on rival show The X Factor, where she is currently a judge.

"This year has been eventful, that's for sure," she said. "I finished my album and I'm so proud of it. And this was the first time I've done a show like X Factor, where it's all live. I've just expanded as an artist."

So, what's next for Rita?

"I see myself as a 360 artist, not just one-laned," she explained. "I like to do everything. I have this vision of building an empire and leaving it to my family. Domination! I dream big, babe. I do."
