Here's all you need to know about the 55-year-old...
Date of birth: 2nd June 1960
Phobias: I don't like cockroaches
Missing any special occasion: No. It's come at a good Jme for me
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the jungle: Nothing. I don't buy into that whole vacuous celebrity thing though. What we do is a job at the end of the day
Role in the camp: The shoulder to cry on
Miss most: My wife and kids. My two youngest are only eight and three and a half
Dream camper: Shane Richie, Rick Astley and Bobby Davro would be such a laugh
Relationship status: Married
Tony reveals he was drawn to taking part in I'm A Celeb as living in the jungle for a few weeks will be like stepping into the unknown. Long gone will be his home comforts and his loved ones, but this singer feels he is up to the challenge: "I am actually really excited as I think it is going to be a lot of fun."
Heading into camp, Tony knows exactly the sort of person he wants to be for his campmates... a shoulder to cry one. He adds: "I am going to be there to help. Some people might need more help than others and they night be able to cope."
"I've watched the show in the past and some people do get emotional. Hopefully I can give them a lift up. I am a great believer that if you want to be treated nicely, you should treat other people in the same way you want to be treated."
And with that in mind, Tony adds he hope he doesn't come across any "prima donnas" in his fellow campers!
Like Lady Colin Campbell, Tony too is all for embracing the 'rice and bean diet' and lack of food that celebrities face in the jungle. Hoping it might give him a kickstart to shape up his physique, Tony jokes: "I've been trying the rice and beans at home and I've actually got into it!"
Stil doesn't quite beat a good burger and chips, though, does it?
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV Sunday 15 November.
