According to ET, production crew were filming at the event for the second season of I Am Cait, but after her speech, Caitlyn was approached by protesters outside.

It is believed there were a small group of protesters unhappy with Caitlyn being used as a LBGT representative due to her wealth and status.

The former Olympian was reportedly told "you have no right to represent us" by members of the group, who go by the name, 'I Ain't Cait'.

According to reports, Caitlyn tried to diffuse one particular protester before being escorted away by her security.

Since her transition, Caitlyn has been honoured at the ESPYs and also at this week's Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.
