This weekend I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is set to return to our screens and while Ferne has been heavily rumoured to appear on the show, her name wasn't included in this year's official lineup.
However, reports are now suggesting she will be a late recruit to camp, and if she is, Lauren reckons Ferne will definitely be a hit.
Rumour has it, Ferne, Vicky Pattison and Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews will all be heading into the jungle as this year's late arrivals.
While Vicky has already been spotted touching down in Australia, Ferne is yet to make the trip to Oz, but many are hoping the feisty Essex girl will be touching down soon. One person being her former castmate, Lauren.
Beauty entrepreneur Lauren, who has recently launched her Hair Academy for her own brand Hair Rehab London, told Reveal: "I think Ferne will be great TV, she's very honest and very blunt. Her delivery with things is very direct."
Although the reality star did add: "But so is Vicky [Pattison's]."
As for the official lineup, Lauren is keen to see Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter make her I'm A Celebrity debut, adding: "She'll be the sweet one that everyone loves, won't she?"
Quick to give her opinion on this year's castmates, we asked Lauren if she would ever consider doing I'm A Celeb. And not ruling out a reality return (now she has left TOWIE), Lauren admitted she would prefer to do a show that challenges her.
She told us: "I'd definitely be up for shows where you go and do something, rather than just sit somewhere. I don't think I'd be very good at that - especially on Big Brother. I don't think that would be my cup of tea. But something where you're doing something specific and you go away learning something."
Lauren in the jungle? Now that we would love to see!
Our catch up with Lauren came shortly after news broke that she had quit The Only Way Is Essex.
After five years of appearing on the show, Lauren has finally decided to bid TOWIE and the drama that comes with it goodbye. Asked why, Lauren recently revealed she decided to quit after not having many friends left on the show.
Of course, she had Vas her go-to BFF, but viewers watched as Lauren fell out with Jessica Wright, Chloe Sims and Danielle Armstrong.
Speaking to us about her exit, she said: "I just didn't enjoy last series at all. It wasn't a nice environment to be around... I wasn't really close to anyone on the show and when you're in that social situation, there's not much you can give to the show storyline wise."
Now, she is back to putting everything into her business. Not only has Lauren seen Hair Rehab London grow (so much so that the Little Mix girls are often sporting her extensions), but she is hoping to have a few more clothing collections under her belt too.
"As much as TOWIE was amazing and I had my moments where I loved it and then hated it," she said. "This is my day-to-day and what I love, business."
