Every week, the contestants are told to sing different songs that all correlate to the same theme, but it seems Simon may be running out of ideas and we're not even half way through the live finals yet!
For the first live show, we had 'This Is Me' and that was followed by last week's theme of 'Reinvention'. But as Simon tries to pinpoint an idea for the weeks to come, he has come up short for a theme for two weeks time. Thank god for Twitter...
Taking to the social media site, Simon decided to enlist the help of his 12.5 million followers, asking them what theme they would like to see the hopefuls adhere to on the show.
Another question. What would be your favourite theme for an X Factor week. This is for two weeks time.— Simon Cowell (@SimonCowell) November 10, 2015
He tweeted: "Another question. What would be your favourite theme for an X Factor week. This is for two weeks time."
And as you might have expected, the 55-year-old wasn't short for answers.
From a One Direction theme to a 'Food' theme and even 'Upside Down Week' that would see finalists sing while "hanging upside down", Twitter really has thought of it all.
While some went for the more amusing choice, others actually came up with some pretty darn good ones that would be quite exciting and *actually* doable.

@SimonCowell Upside Down week. Finalists have to sing while hanging upside down.— Peter Robinson (@Popjustice) November 10, 2015
@SimonCowell No theme but all the acts have to choose a song for each other. THAT WOULD SPICE THINGS UP.— Silly Old Daniel (@sillyolddaniel) November 10, 2015
One user thought of 'Duets', each contestant has to pair up with another and they perform together.
Another suggested "no theme", instead putting forward that the X Factor hopefuls pick each other's songs, while one of Simon's followers chose 'The Year I Was Born' - each act sings a number one hit from the year they were born.
And after reading what everyone came up with, Simon tweeted: "Some of the ideas you sent are very funny. And a lot of good ideas. Thanks again. Simon."
Ooo, we wonder what he'll go with!
Simon's plea for live show themes comes after fans were left shocked to see Seann Miley Moore eliminated from The X Factor.
On Sunday night's results show, Kiera Weathers was immediately axed from the show after receiving the fewest public votes.
Nick Grimshaw then faced a tough decision as both his boys Seann and Mason Noise were forced to perform in the sing off. Simon and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini both voted to save Seann, while Rita chose to send him home, leaving the deciding vote down to Nick.
He didn't want to pick between his acts, so took the vote to deadlock where Seann was then revealed as the second act to be sent home.
Following the result, Sean said he was "raging" to go as he wanted to win the competition and many fans petitioned for the star to be brought back. Many hit out at Grimmy for not saving him instead of Mason, with former X Factor winner Sam Bailey criticising the Radio 1 DJ for "bottling it".
Kiera and Sean's exits come after Bupsi Brown and Alien Uncovered were the first two acts to be eliminated from the live shows.
The X Factor continues Saturday 14 November on ITV.
