While promoting her new book 'Stong Looks Better Naked' at a book signing in Los Angeles, Khloe revealed Lamar still has a long way to go in his recovery, after being found unconscious in Nevada on 13 October, following a reported drugs overdose.
The reality star told Extra: "He's definitely doing better which is awesome, every day is better. He's off of all machines. He is alive on his own, and no machines are helping him, which is great, but he still has a lot of physical and cognitive therapy to go through, so it's a long road for him."
"It's gonna be a long long time, every day is different," Khloe continued. "Some days he's really strong and some days he's weaker than the day before because it's mentally draining - I'm sure - on him."
However, Khloe revealed she expects Lamar to be released from Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre as soon as he's able to get around on his own.
"He will try to learn how to walk so that is first," she said. "When he can support himself on his own, or physically try to walk better on his own, or at least with an assistance, with like a walker, then he will probably leave the hospital and do a lot of cognitive and mental strengthening."
In the days following Lamar's overdose it was revealed that he and Khloe are still married, however Khloe is currently dating James Harden and has revealed she isn't thinking about rekindling with him.
Speaking to People Khloe confirmed her only focus was Lamar's health and wellbeing, saying: "There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now."
