Following Lewis Bloor's shock revelation to Pete that he kissed Jess a few weeks ago, Jess seeks solace in Ferne McCann, Danielle Armstrong and Bobby Norris as she clarifies the truth behind the rumours.
Later, Jess seeks out Pete, who is still looking for answers following Lewis' bombshell.
As they talk things over, will Pete be able to forgive and forget?
Meanwhile Jess is still livid at Lewis, but she reluctantly hears him out later on when he goes go to her flat.
However, an awkward situation gets all the more complicated when Pete arrives at her flat too, and it's not long before a showdown ensues.
Soon, tears start to flow for Jess, but as the series draws to a close, can she and Pete find a way forward?
In the last episode, Pete was raging after Lewis dropped a bombshell that he kissed Jess after she went on the vineyard date with Pete a few weeks ago.
Lewis said it was just a "silly kiss" but Pete blasted both him and Jess as a "f**king joke".
Although Lewis said in a video interview after the row that he "helped the situation" by telling Pete, following the episode, Lewis apologised via Twitter, saying: "@P_Wicks01 is not at all a bad person and what i done is wrong. @MissJessWright_ is also a very sweet person and doesn't deserve a hard time."
Meanwhile, Pete hinted that he had forgiven Jess when he tweeted: "Nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes..."
He followed this up a few hours later, saying: "I spent a lot of my life being in the wrong, I've said it before but everyone makes mistakes. It is what it is. Life's too short...learn."
