STOP EVERYTHING PEOPLE... Busted are making a comeback!

Our Tuesday, week, Christmas, year (we could go on...) has been made! Earlier today, news broke that the Busted boys are reuniting and we're just a *tad* excited.

In case you hadn't noticed, Twitter has been rife with speculation that Matt Willis, Charlie Simpson and James Bourne will be dusting off their guitars and getting back on stage together.

Our hearts were officially broken when Charlie left the band ten years ago and Busted were no more, with the boys constantly saying a reunion would "never happen" in the years that followed. Then, when Matt and James formed with McFly to create the genius McBusted, Charlie was still nowhere to be seen. Sob.

However, when the Twitter'verse began to speculate on a comeback, neither Charlie, James or Matt outright denied the rumours, with Charlie even favouriting (or should we say 'liking') comeback tweets posted by fans.

James and Matt have always had a running joke that Charlie would only join Busted again when pigs can fly and today, James changed his Twitter bio to "pigs can..."

Yup, that's right, it's official. Charlie's love affair with Busted has been reborn. YES.

To announce the oh-so-exciting news, the boys shared a new video to their YouTube channel titled 'Meet You There'.

Spolier alert: It's #totesemosh.

In the six minute long clip, James and Matt are seen discussing their Busted days and what Charlie brought to the table when they were wooing us with hits like 'What I Go To School For' and 'Air Hostess'.

The camera then pans to Wembley Arena and Matt is first to arrive, with James closely behind. As the two guys hug it out, Charlie's voice can be heard and the yes-this-is-really-happening tingles start to set in.

And what do you know, all 6.3ft of him then strolls through the arena door, meaning the moment we have been waiting a total age for has finally happened. *Currently feeling all the feels*

Even Charlie admits, three years ago he would never have thought about rejoining Busted, but after penning down some new tunes with his bandmates, he began to think a comeback wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Busted will kick off their 'Meet You There' tour in May, next year. Tickets go on sale this Friday (13 November) at 9am.
