Verity Chapman made a brief reappearance in last night's episode of TOWIE at Liam Blackwell's Diwali party.

Viewers haven't seen an appearance from Verity all series, but on Sunday (8 November) she was seen at the celebrations in a scene with close friend Vas J Morgan.

TOWIE: Verity Chapman is spotted filming at the Diwali party alongside Vas J Morgan.

The last time viewers saw Verity on screen was in series 15. She had a controversial arrival on the show, where she was accused of flirting with Danielle Armstrong's ex James 'Lockie' Lock.

Verity also grew close to Pete Wicks, but by the finale Pete had stormed off after he was quizzed by Verity on rumours he had been flirting with Jessica Wright.

Ahead of series 16, Pete slammed Verity for being "vile", exclusively telling Reveal: "With Verity, well, Danielle was right. She's not my cup of tea. V for vile.

"I thought she was a nice girl... I do think she's a nice girl deep down somewhere, but it's hidden behind a mask of vileness. We didn't really fall out but she's after what she can get I think."

TOWIE's Lauren Pope, Vas J Morgan, Verity Chapman leave La Sala in Puerto Banus - 22 September 2015.

Verity had been in Marbs for the start of series 16 - but she did not film.

The cast headed out to Marbella to film scenes for the start of the brand new series, and Pete said Verity had turned up uninvited.

At the time, a TOWIE rep confirmed to Reveal Verity hadn't been filming much in Marbs butt we were told that Verity may continue to make appearances.

Verity later hit back at remarks made by Danielle, who had called her a "dirty cheeseburger". Taking to Twitter, Verity wrote: "Dirty cheese burger!? More like wagyu beef darling, if you know what that is @Daniarmstrong88."

TOWIE series finale airs Wednesday 11 November at 10pm on ITVBe.
