Fleur and Ben took part in the ITV talent show last year, and not only were they both mentored by Simon Cowell, but they also ended up as finalists. Former van driver Ben won the show, leaving Fleur as a runner-up.
As the show's winner, Ben landed a record deal with Simon's label Syco, and a month later, Simon also signed Fleur to his label too.
With both singers releasing their debut albums, talk has naturally led to some competition between the artists. "I don't understand why because we are so different," Fleur told the Daily Star. "There's room for both of us."
In fact, Fleur said she would actually like to work with Ben one day. Last year, the pair were constantly singing together in and around the X Factor house, but could we be seeing a collaboration in the near future?
"I'd like to sing with him one day because I never got to do it on the show, only hip-hop tracks around the X Factor house," she revealed.
In August, the show's 2013 winner Sam Bailey said she "felt sorry" for Ben, claiming Simon favoured Fleur.
Sam, who was dropped from Syco in February, blasted head judge and her former label boss Simon, by telling The Sun: "I felt sorry for Ben on the X Factor tour. Fleur opened the show and had amazing outfits, pyrotechnics, dancers and big performances. Then Ben went on at the end and it was an anti-climax. It's obvious they are pushing Fleur to be the star."
Ben has just released his second solo single 'Second Hand Heart' featuring Kelly Clarkson, a follow-up to his first chart-topping single 'Something I Need', which was a OneRepublic cover.
Ben, who performed on The X Factor last week, will release his self-titled debut album on 13 November.
Meanwhile, Fleur's debut single 'Sax' will be due for release this week (6 November). Her debut album, Love, Sax and Flashbacks, will be out on 4 December.
Speaking about her single, Fleur told the newspaper: "Simon loves 'Sax'. I haven't seen him dance to it yet but that would be a moment. Let's make him go viral."
