On Saturday night (31 October0, Bupsi made her debut on The X Factor's first live show. She took to the stage with her rendition of Marvin Gaye's 'You're A Wonderful One', but failed to impress the viewers at home and found herself first to be given the boot, after receiving the fewest public votes.
Thanks to her fun-filled first audition, Bupsi had become a show favourite and while many were sad to see her go, the singer seemed positive, telling fans she was about to begin a "new chapter".
Taking to Twitter following yesterday's result, Bupsi shared a series of tweets. They read: "Thank you all so much for sharing my journey I will not forget this journey 4 a long time! Good luck to the other contestants.
"Sending love and thx 2 @SimonCowell 4 opening the door 4 me let's not be bitter guys let's embrace the journey! @bupsibrown @TheXFactor.
"Once again thank you to all who supported me! You guys have been awesome!! @bupsibrown @TheXFactor new beginning of new chapter!"
Following her performance, fans of the show feared Bupsi could be in danger of being sent home, after Simon admitted he had chosen the wrong song choice for her.
Both Nick and Rita had quipped they wanted more "nasty" from Bupsi, leading Simon to admit he had chosen the wrong song for her to sing.
He told his act: "Bupsi, you were nervous. Slighting intimidated. This is a big stage to come out on, but I have to remember what you are all about. You are one heck of a singer. I'll be honest with you, I don't think I chose the right song for you, I think the track overpowered you. So I didn't do the best possible job for you."
Bupsi wasn't the only one to face the axe, as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini lost her first group, after Alien Uncovered were voted out of the competition by the judges.
They had joined Kiera Weathers in the sing off, with Nick, Simon and Rita all choosing to save her and send Alien Uncovered home from the show.
Earlier today, the girls joined Bupsi on ITV's Lorraine to speak about their X Factor exits.
Bupsi told host Lorraine Kelly: "We're breathing, we're fighters, we're survivors."
Reflecting on her time on the talent show, Bupsi added: "It's been a fabulous journey. There were highs and lows, but we only say lows because you are so tired sometimes. I'm going to keep singing, this is what I was born to do and what I love."
Alien Uncovered too said they were going to carry on as a girlband.
When asked by Lorraine if they will stay together, the girls replied: "100 percent. We will continue to be Alien Uncovered and spread our message and hopefully make music in the future."
The X Factor continues this weekend, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November on ITV.
