In scenes to air on tomorrow night's episode, we'll see Chloe reflecting on her friendship with Lauren and how current frostiness between them has contributed to the decline of Chloe's relationship with Vas J Morgan.
Vas appears in an apologetic mood and goes to visit Chloe at her beauty salon in a bid to iron out their differences and resolve what has gone wrong between them.
And Chloe has a theory for what that is... Lauren.
She tells Vas: "[Lauren] almost does think she's a bit above everybody. The likes of Danielle and Lydia and people like that. I don't know whether her influence has influenced you. And you've kind of got trapped in the middle of it all."
Viewers of The Only Way Is Essex know that Chloe and Lauren's close friendship crumbled last year when it emerged Chloe had enjoyed a secret fling with Mario Falcone. Lauren was unhappy Chloe hadn't confided in her, especially when she'd kissed Mario herself in the past.
Although they tried to repair that friendship, it never returned to the closeness they once had, resulting in Chloe blocking Lauren and Vas from her phone earlier this year. (And warning Bobby Cole Norris not to trust Vas.)
She explained at the time: "I just feel like because me and Lauren can't seem to ever get back to how we were before, I think it's really awkward for Vas because he's closer to Lauren than he is to me.
"I think it's better all round if we just stay out of each other's lives, not in a bad way, honestly. So I took it upon myself to actually block them off everything. If we cut each other out, then there can be no misunderstandings or misinterpretations of any quotes or anything I say and do.
"They are doing their thing and I'm doing my thing. There is no bad feeling towards Vas. I have no problem. I just thought it was better all round to cut contact and let life go on."
