The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has responded to concerns that her interview and cover shoot with People magazine took place immediately following the collapse and hospitalisation of her ex-husband Lamar Odom.
In a string on tweets, Khloe wished to make it "VERY clear" that she carried out the interview months ago, and was contractually obliged to do a short follow-up interview recently to update the story. It was then that the reality star spoke about Lamar and his situation.
This had sparked concern amongst fans on social media, who were unaware of Khloe's obligations, and suggested that she was too quick to talk about the sensitive situation with the press.
Khloe has responded in fury, ensuring followers she is actually trying to stay out of the limelight and adding that during this difficult time she doesn't need "f*cked up energy".
The tweets read: "I want to make this VERY clear.... My people cover, I shot and interviewed for PRIOR to all the events that happened. PART 1
"It was contracted press for my book that I wrote months and months ago. Timing is what it is. PART 2
"Shame on you all for thinking the worst of me. It's been a tough few weeks. I don't need your f**ked up energy!
"Know the facts before you throw stones.
"I had to do a follow up 5 minute phoner after the events only because I was contracted to. I cancelled my book tour to avoid this attention.
"To the ones who uplift and send love.... I love you more! I appreciate the support. Have a great day babies! Kisses and hugs."
