With the judges having handpicked their final 12, this weekend will see the remaining X Factor contestants take to the stage for their very first live performance this weekend.
But, Caroline, who has been suffering with flu for the past few days, may have to miss out on hosting the show alongside Olly Murs if she fails to get better.
Last night, Cazza proved she was feeling under the weather, posting a "very fluey" shout out to her good friend Laura Whitmore on Instagram.
Caroline was supposed to be attending the starlet's jewellery launch, but instead found herself resting up at home and sharing a selfie from her sick bed.
Alongside her photo, she said: "Massive fluey shout out to @thewhitmore for her launch tonight! Sorry I can't be there.... He's me in my fave Daisy necklace for you Laura !! You are LOVELY."
Since then, a source has revealed Caroline's bout of flu has concerned X Factor bosses, hinting the 35-year-old could be a no show because of it on Saturday night.
They told The Daily Star: "[Caroline] hasn't been feeling well this week at all, and the timing couldn't be worse, with the first live performances this weekend.
"She has been resting at home and doing everything she possibly can to recover in time to make it on stage with Olly... But at the moment it is touch and go, and it is a worry for everyone."

While there is a possibility Caroline might be forced to stay at home and watch the show, the TV presenter's latest tweets suggest she is on the mend.
As well as working on The X Factor, Caroline has been busy promoting her first autobiography Storm In A C Cup. And earlier today, she was back on the road and continuing with her book tour.
Suggesting she is feeling better, Caroline tweeted: "Morning!!!! Up and at it! More book tour today! See you in a bit Bluewater."
Fingers crossed she is on the mend!
