The actress – who plays Sonia Fowler in the BBC One soap – has accepted a proposal from cameraman boyfriend Marc Humphreys after a year of dating.
A rep for 'Enders said: "She is really happy."
Marc is thought to have worked as a freelance cameraman for the BBC since 2004 which has included time on EastEnders.
Earlier this year, a source told The Mirror: "[Natalie] can't believe how great Marc is with her [daughter]. Her friends and family are really pleased for her. It's time she had luck where boyfriends are concerned."
Natalie's engagement joy comes two years after she split from fiancé Adam Cottrell, the father of her five-year-old daughter Eliza.
She was with the trainee accountant for around four years before they separated for good in 2013. During their time together, Adam admitted to assaulting the star twice.
