Ever since Sorority girl Elle Woods and her beloved canine Bruiser breezed into Harvard Law School (like it's hard?) back in 2001, we've been eager to find out what the famous blonde has been up to in her all-pink-everything life.
It turns out Reese - who has played Elle in both the original film and the sequel - is in agreement! During an appearance on Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe, the Hollywood actress finally addressed fans of the film who've been wondering if a third and final Legally Blonde movie will ever happen.
"A lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it," she said. "I actually think it's kind of great right now because we're talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women. And I think it'd be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office... President?
"I think we're ready to see Elle and see what she's up to lately." We couldn't agree more to be honest, celebratory bend and snap, anyone?
Before we get carried away (too late), it isn't up to Reese to decide if another movie gets made. Unsurprisingly the film studios calls the shots. "Call MGM," Reese said. "I have no idea."
Reckon a third film is on the horizon? We've got everything crossed!
