The reality star opened up on a recent episode of the ITVBe show about relapsing on his road to recovery; a relapse that led girlfriend Lydia Bright to tell him she needed some time apart.
On last night's episode, viewers saw Arg struggling to win Lydia back by focusing on his sobriety, hitting the gym and trying to show her this had been a "wake up call" for him.
Tweeting after the show, he said: "Overwhelmed by how many nice tweets I'm getting tonight. I've tried to respond to as many as possible. Will keep doing what I'm doing.
"So lucky to have the support of my family and friends. Recovering isn't easy but I've come so far and believe I'm still doing well."
On a recent episode of the show, Arg opened up to Lewis Bloor about what had happened, saying: "I've had a bit of a bump in the road recently. I'm not worried about my recovery as such, I'm in a good place but they do affect Lydia badly.
"I know myself how far I've come in the last year and I do feel that I'm still on the right track, I'm going strong but if I do have bumps in the road, I'm just so petrified to tell her that I panic and maybe I tell a white lie or I'm a bit deceitful because I'm so scared of her reaction."
Arg voluntarily entered rehab over Christmas last year to deal with excessive partying.
