While her name has been thrown around the Glastonbury headliner rumour mill on countless occasions, we're still yet to see the 'Someone Like You' singer top the bill at Worthy Farm. And while we're hoping, praying and keeping everything crossed that Adele *will* headline next year, she appears to have already ruled it out...
Speaking to Capital FM earlier today, Adele admitted she finds performing at Glastonbury a little overwhelming.
That's hard to believe coming from the star that has won an Oscar for her insane vocals, but confessing her fears Adele said: "I think I have made myself pretty clear on Glastonbury.
"The crowds are too big, I don't know if I could do it. I went this year to watch Kayne and I literally just crapped my pants on the size of the audience. It was pretty insane."
80,000 strong? We guess that kind of is a biggie.
Adele's comments on Glasto come as she is currently making her musical comeback. After taking time out of the music biz to let life happen, Adele is now back and boy is she back with a bang.
The 27-year-old first teased her comeback on Sunday night (18 October) during an advert break for The X Factor. Viewers at home were given a snippet of Adele's new single, 'Hello', and the 30 second video sent Twitter into a meltdown.
Fans and celebrities expressed their excitement at Adele and her new music, with the singer then revealing more details on her next album, 25.
Adele told fans her album this time round is a "make up record". Penning a letter on Twitter, she told fans: "If I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record. I'm making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did."
Today, 'Hello' was given its first radio play and Adele released the music video to her beautiful new track. If you haven't already you just need to take a listen! Enjoy...
