Former TOWIE star Frankie Essex has hit out at Lauren Pope following reports she is quitting the reality show after five years.

Frankie spoke to Reveal about Lauren's planned exit at the Sleek MakeUP 24K Gold Launch party in London's Century Club on Wednesday evening (21 October).

After Vas J Morgan confirmed Lauren had quit the ITVBe reality show, 28-year-old Frankie tells us: "I've heard that Lauren has left, maybe she doesn't have no more friends to film with because no one likes her anymore."

Lauren, 33, has had her fair share of drama. In 2014 she fell out with best friend (and Frankie's cousin) Chloe Sims over Mario Falcone. The pair tried to reconcile their friendship but it didn't last long.

In the last series, Lauren also had fallouts with Jessica Wright, Gemma Collins and Danielle Armstrong, and she broke down in tears as she told Mario: "I've never had a pack of girls hate me."

There was never any conflict between Frankie and Lauren on screen, but Frankie now claims Lauren never acknowledges her when out and about.

"She's a bit stuck up," Frankie explains. "I just don't get her. She lives on the bottom of my road but she never waves, so I never wave. Even if you don't like someone I think you should wave and say 'hi'. I've known Lauren for a long time, but when she goes by, she doesn't even look. So whatever, if you don't want to say hello then whatever, I don't even like you anyway."

According to reports, Lauren is set to quit the show after the current 16th series to focus on her expanding businesses, which includes her hair range, a clothing range and DJ gigs.

The ITVBe reality show, which has just celebrated its five-year anniversary, is known for its explosive arguments, make ups and break ups, but Frankie says she's had enough of the drama: "I would never go back to TOWIE. It's too much drama and too much headache. I've got my own headaches to deal with."

TOWIE airs every Sunday and Wednesday at 10pm on ITVBe.
