The former TOWIE star surprised fans recently when she revealed she and Jake are taking a break from their relationship. The pair had rekindled their romance earlier this year, after initially splitting back in 2013.
However, while Lauren confessed things hadn't worked out so well second time round, she later enjoyed a reunion with Jake, telling fans she was with "her boy" again.
Throughout their relationship, Lauren regularly kept fans updated on her romance, labelling Jake as "her boy" or "her hubby" in her tweets. So, when she took to Instagram last night with a picture of herself and her beau watching a film together, it was easy to guess Jake was the guy she was referring to.
Her snap had shown her legs and those of her boyfriend's as they lounged out in front of the flat screen. Lauren has now deleted the picture from her Instagram feed and the tweet that she sent out along with it. She posted a blue heart emoji and told fans: "Cinema date with the boy."
While Lauren's followers took that as proof the couple were now working things out when it comes to their relationship, could the starlet's decision to delete her posts mean things still aren't so good?
Yesterday, Lauren claimed "everything happens for a reason", after confessing she and Jake are currently on a break.
Lauren, who has previously called Jake her "soulmate", has now revealed in her latest magazine column that the pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram and haven't talked to one another for a week.
Jake is no longer living with Lauren in her Essex home and Lauren has blamed "stress" and not any major rows for the breakdown of their relationship.
The pair's break comes four months after Lauren revealed she and Jake were back together.
Things had seemed to be going well for the pair, with Lauren even getting an impulsive tattoo of his name etched onto her wrist.
Lauren and Jake had dated previously, before splitting for the first time two years ago. Opening up about their rekindled romance back in August, Lauren had said she and Jake were "better than ever".
"We've definitely grown up and matured. We're in a totally different place," she said at the time.
"Sometimes you do feel like you need a little break to realise you want to be with each other. It can be healthy. You come back and do it properly, and that's what we've done."
