Since arriving on the Essex scene, Liam has been quite vocal when it comes to sharing his feelings for Ferne. Admitting he does fancy his co-star, the TOWIE newcomer has pulled out all the stops to impress her and after getting a cheeky snog from her on their second date, it seemed like his charms had worked.
Filming upcoming scenes for the show earlier this week, new pictures show Ferne and Liam venturing to Epping Forest for some more one-on-one time. Could it be third time lucky?
After a fancy first date that saw Liam whisk Ferne off in a helicopter, and a second that saw Pete Wicks and Jessica Wright join the pair for a spot of wine tasting, Ferne and Liam decided to do things much simpler this time round.
Shunning a fancy dinner for a picnic prepared at home, the co-star's headed to the woods for a stroll and a catch up, before dining on their packed lunch. Cute, right?
Despite immersing themselves in nature, Ferne still managed to work that Essex glam while wearing her wellies, while Liam cut a dapper figure in his jean and shirts combo, wrapping a yellow sweater around his shoulders.
After taking a walk through the woodlands, the pair sat down for a catch up and we've no doubt conversation turned to their budding romance. While Liam has confessed he really likes Ferne, she isn't sure if there is any romance there between them. Will she 'fess up?
In last night's TOWIE episode, Ferne opened up to BFF Jess about how she feels when it comes to Liam.
"I love being in his company," she gushed. "People have said you're just going out with Liam for his money and I'm like no, I enjoy his company."
However, when Jess asked her if she was sexually attracted to the Essex boy, Ferne replied: "No. I'm going to be honest, no."
"Liam is not 'my type'," she explained. "I love hanging out with Liam, though, I love it."
Ferne's comments come after viewers watched herself and Liam enjoying a steamy kiss together.
The couple had been talking about their previous dates, with Ferne telling Liam: "I never, ever, expected the helicopter, and that extravagant date, it was incredible. But even if we were to be in a helicopter or if we were to be on a push bike, I'd still have a good time."
Liam agreed, saying: "I like the finer things in life but I do like my chill time as well. I've enjoyed these last two dates and I think there's one thing that would make it a little bit better."
And with that, the pair kissed. Oh, we *so* hope this unexpected romance continues!
TOWIE continues Sunday 25 October at 10pm on ITVBe.
