According to The Sun, the pair were introduced in 2012 but it wasn't until the following year that they began to date.

"It was more than a fling and they developed feelings for each other," a friend of April's told the newspaper. "It was tricky because of Usain's busy schedule.

"Whenever he was in London they enjoyed going to clubs and having fun. They called it quits as Usain's work commitments kept them apart."

But, it appears that April and Usain remained friends after their split, as they were snapped together in 2014 following a night out at Mahiki in London.

In the first episode of The Apprentice, April actually cited Usain's success on the track, saying: "I'm Jamaican. We come first, we win on the track and we will win in the boardroom."
