Khloe Kardashian's ex-husband was moved from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas to LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre on Monday, after being found unconscious last week at Love Ranch, a brothel in Nevada.
Lamar's aunt, JaNean Mercer, who has given several statements to the press following her nephew's hospitalisation, has said former NBA star Lamar is making "miraculous progress".
Upon his move to LA, JaNean Mercer said: "As Lamar begins a new chapter in his road to recovery, please continue to uplift him and the family in prayer. He continues to make his miraculous progress, taking a few steps in Los Angeles. We couldn't be more overjoyed. We realise Lamar's continued improvement will not be easy, however his unrelenting strength and faith in God will pull him through."
Khloe has also broken her silence on Lamar's hospitalisation, speaking publicly on the matter for the first time.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has not left Lamar's side since he was taken to hospital last Tuesday. They split in 2013 and signed divorce papers, but a report this week claimed they are legally still married because the paperwork has not been completed by a judge. This means Khloe has been making difficult medical decisions about Lamar's care.
In a message on her website, Khloe said: "This past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work."
"Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made," Khloe continued. "You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued supper. God is great!"
