The Duchess of Cambridge wore a royal tiara while hosting her first banquet with husband Prince William and Queen Elizabeth.
Mum-of-two Kate looked ever so elegant and regal in a Lotus Flower tiara, which was once owned by the Queen Mother, and a stunning red custom-made Jenny Packham gown.
The banquet was in honour of The President of the People's Republic of China, Mr Xi Jinping and his wife, Madame Peng Liyuan, who are paying a State Visit to the United Kingdom as guests of the Queen.
It was an exquisite evening with filet of West Coast Turbot with lobster mousse, roasted loin of Balmoral venison in madeira and truffle sauce on the menu.
The ballroom was decked out for a mammoth 130 guests, with floral arrangements of white roses, pink carnations and clematis.
Kate was seated on the President's right, while the Queen sat on Mr Xi Jinping's left.
