Lauren joined the ITVBe reality show during the first series in 2010, but latest reports say she is set to quit after five years on the show.
Apparently, model and DJ Lauren is deciding to leave as she is finding it difficult to juggle filming with her growing businesses and projects.
A source told Mail Online: "Lauren has decided to leave as her business ventures are demanding too much of her time. Her various businesses are doing really well and she's expanding internationally and just can't afford to give the time that TOWIE requires."
Aside from DJ-ing, Lauren's Hair Rehab London company, which has clients including Little Mix, has been a hit on the high street and internationally. The fashionista also has a clothing range with In The Style.
A source told The Mirror that Lauren has lots of new opportunities to pursue.
"Producers wanted her to stay, but she has too much on at the moment," revealed a source. "She has invested in several other business opportunities and she needs to be present at meetings both in the UK and the US. She's also had a couple of other TV offers, which she might test the water with."
Lauren joined TOWIE in the first series. Viewers watched the ups and downs of her relationship with Kirk Norcross, and also the fall of her friendship with Chloe Sims. She's also had romances with Tom Pearce, Mario Falcone, Lewis Bloor, and more recently, Dan Edgar.
