TOWIE's Lydia Bright has said she is "angry" with boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent for lying because it is "history repeating itself".

In the last episode, Arg revealed how Lydia had cut off all contact with him after becoming "frustrated" with his behaviour. The final straw appeared to be over a recent night out where Arg lied about his whereabouts.

He said he was going to stay over at his mum's, but he ended up crashing at Fran and Diags' house. After Arg penned a letter to Lydia, she told her mum that she needed to have "time away" from him.

Now speaking in a new video on the TOWIE website, Lydia said: "Basically James has lied to me and has just been an idiot again. I'm not happy. This argument is very similar to a lot of arguments we've had in the past and that's why it's more frustrating. It's the same thing, it's history repeating himself. You would have thought that James would have learnt by now."

Lydia said she needed space on her own, and would only consider talking to Arg once she has calmed down.

"James needs to leave me be at the moment because I'm very angry," she continued. "When I'm angry you just need to stay away from me. When I've calmed down I can address it then. When I'm angry I just block it out, I don't want to talk about it and I just want to get on with my life. when I'm ready to approach the situation when I'm a bit more calm then I will."

Arg has also spoken out about his relationship troubles, saying he is unsure if Lydia will give him a second chance.

He said: "I know I haven't handled things the right way but I just like to think how close we've been, and how happy in love we are, it would just be a great shame."
