How you ask? By gatecrashing her girls' night out, dressing up in a Naval uniform and re-enacting a scene from Tom Cruise movie Top Gun.
He doesn't do things by halves, does he?
Ahead of his performance, earlier pictures had suggested Dan had a musical gesture up his sleeve, as he was photographed taking a singing lesson.
Flanked by James Lock and James 'Diags' Bennewith, Dan had roped in his two co-stars to help him win back Kate.
Turning up at Essex hotspot Kosho, the boys donned their fancy dress and surprised the girls with their rendition. Their efforts didn't go to waste and Kate seemed to be thoroughly enjoying her ex-beau's efforts.
She joined Chloe Lewis and Danielle Armstrong in the club and couldn't resist sharing a giggle with her girl pals while the performance went on.
As Dan wrapped up his song, he then made sure to go over to Kate - no doubt to see what she made of it. Luckily for him, it seems she loved it as when he then asked her to join him on a date, Kate finally said yes.
Dan's romantic gesture comes after he recently told Kate he was "willing to wait" for however long it takes until she trusts him again.
He had left Kate (who he dated for four years) heartbroken after dumping her out the blue earlier this year, and later pursuing Jess Wright on his TOWIE debut.
In a heart-to-heart in Sunday night's episode of the show, Kate told him: "You downplayed the whole thing like we were never a serious thing and you got with something else publicly after four days."
"I don't trust you," she admitted. "How can I trust you not to do what you did to me again?"
Dan then said: "I do regret it. I loved you from day one. I didn't stop loving you when we weren't together. I'm willing to wait however long it will take."
TOWIE continues Wednesday 21 October at 10pm on ITVBe.
