TOWIE's James 'Arg' Argent has said he is uncertain over his future with Lydia Bright.

Lydia has cut off all contact with Arg after becoming "frustrated" with his behaviour. The final straw appeared to be over a recent night out where Arg lied about his whereabouts.

Arg revealed that Lydia was upset after he told her he was staying with his mum, only he ended up crashing at Diags and Fran's house.

During last night's episode, Lydia said she needs to have "time away" from Arg to think about their future, and now Arg admits he is uncertain if she will give him another chance.

"It's a tough one to call. Who knows?", said Arg in a new TOWIE video. "I don't know. Short term it's quite tough but hopefully long term I will hopefully be able to sort things out.

"One minute she's blocked me, the next minute she hasn't. It's just a tough one."

But, Arg said maybe the space will do Lydia some good.

"Sometimes you just need some space," he continued. "I know I haven't handled things the right way but I just like to think how close we've been, and how happy in love we are, it would just be a great shame."

In last night's episode, Arg attempted to make it up to Lydia by sending her a large bouquet of flowers and a hand-written letter where he apologised for his behaviour.

The letter read: "To my Lydia, I'm so sorry for what I've done. I've let you down once again. We never keep things from each other but I panicked and lied to you. I can't apologise enough. Love and miss you. James."

But, Lydia told her mum Debbie and Georgia Kousoulou after reading out Arg's letter: "I'm just so frustrated because I've never known anybody to have as much chances as James has had throughout his life.

"Everyone thinks this is just about Arg lying and it was just a silly mistake but there's so much more to it than that. I need to have some time away from him to work out if I can do this for the rest of my life."
