A statement was released on Thursday evening (15 October) by Lamar's daughter Destiny, 15, and his 13-year-old son Lamar Jr.
The short message read: "Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."
Former NBA star Lamar was found unresponsive at a Nevada brothel on Tuesday afternoon. The 911 call has since been released, where a caller claims Lamar had been taking a herbal Viagra and had cocaine with him.
The 35-year-old currently in a coma at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. No official statement on his condition has been released but unconfirmed reports in the US allege he's suffered organ failure and possible brain damage through oxygen deprivation.
Lamar's ex-wife Khloe Kardashian flew his children out from New York tio Las Vegas to be with their father. They are his kids with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales. The couple's third child, Jayden, passed away from SIDS at six months old.
It's believed that Khloe is making medical decisions for Lamar as although they separated in 2013, their divorce has yet to be finalised by the courts, meaning they are legally still married.
