The former Stereo Kicks singer posed for the paps as he arrived at The Drury Club in London's Covent Garden.
First lets take a moment to admire Jake's masterclass in layering because it's possibly the only perk of cold weather. The singer wore a long grey tee underneath a grey polo knit and topped things off with a denim jacket.
Jake wasn't actually there to show off his styling skills - he had a far more important mission - to meet and greet adoring fans.
Since his eight-piece band called it a day earlier this summer, announcing they would be splitting following a final concert at Thorpe Park's ISLAND BEATS in July, fans have been eagerly awaiting new material - and although Jake didn't have that, we're guessing catching a glimpse of the boy himself was enough!
When it comes to releasing solo music, Jake recently revealed he's keen to make a departure from Stereo Kicks' pop sound and create something a bit more "naughty".
Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "Before I felt like I was compromising myself doing the stuff with Stereo Kicks. I loved it but it wasn't my music. I want to use rap in the music, hip-hop and rap – but not a full on f*** bitches sort of thing. I will make it more naughty though, I'll have that explicit sign next to the album."
There's no word yet on when we will hear that music, but he did thank fans recently for staying with him as he works on his solo career. He tweeted: "Just wanna say a quick thank-you to those of you staying active & supportive. things take time to be perfected but it'll be worth the wait."
We have no doubt about that!
