Love Island star Hannah Elizabeth has hit out at her co-star Max Morley, after he tweeted about her split with Jon Clark.

Yesterday, Reveal reported there had been speculation that Hannah and Jon had broken up, after the ex-couple posted a few telling tweets to their Twitter accounts. They were shortly followed by a tweet from Max, who appeared to confirm his co-stars' break up for them.

Showing his support for Jon, he said: "Understand people break up. It doesn't always work out and the lad isn't always the bad person @jbclark_"

Hannah, however, has now hit back at Max, insisting he knows nothing about her relationship.

She tweeted: "Max U know f*** all ... I never commented when U split up with Jess it's none of your business."

He replied: "@misshannahelizx that is not me having a go I just don't want it to get nasty between you both."

Shortly before, Hannah had cryptically told followers: "Some people are not what they make out to be."

Hannah and Jon are thought to have split, after hitting a rocky patch in their relationship. The couple (who were actually engaged after Jon proposed onscreen during Love Island) have reportedly been arguing for quite some time, with the constant rowing forcing them to go their separate ways.

According to The Daily Star, the reality stars had jetted back to Majorca (where they first met) for a 'make or break' holiday. However, when there the rows continued and Hannah and Jon called it quits, with Jon flying home back to Essex early.

A source told the paper: "It was last chance saloon when they flew out to Majorca – they have been arguing a lot recently.... they thought they would have a long weekend back where they first met to help solve their problems.

"But when they got there it didn't work, they argued and Jon ended up flying back on his own leaving Hannah in Spain. That's it now."

Speculation Hannah and Jon have called time on their romance first surfaced when fans noticed a few cryptic tweets from the couple.

Jon had said: "Drink changes people." While Hannah had told her followers: "It's so harsh when you learn what someone actually thinks of you..."

She then posted a crying emoji to her feed, with her Love Island co-stars Jess Hayes, Lauren Richardson and Cally Jane Beech telling the starlet to keep her chin up.

News of the pair's break up will come as a shock to fans, as Hannah and Jon had seemed nothing but loved-up.

Just last month, Jon gushed to Reveal he and Hannah were "living a fairytale". He told us: "We've never been so happy."

Reveal has contacted a rep for both Hannah and Jon for comment.
