TOWIE star Lewis Bloor is confident he and his ex-girlfriend Nicole Bass do have a future together.

He may have competition on his hands in the form of TOWIE newcomer Michael Hassini, but Lewis is sure he and Nicole will give things another go.

Speaking in a new video posted to the official TOWIE website, the Essex boy revealed: "Nicole's the one that got away... I want her to be part of my future."

Lewis and Nicole dated last year, but things soon ended when he was caught cheating on her. While both have admitted there are still feelings there, Nicole has made it clear she is now single and her history with Lewis didn't stop her from enjoying Michael's company in Marbella.

So much so, that Nicole told Lewis she and Mike did kiss.

"To hear Nicole and Mike have had a kiss, it doesn't sound like some big romantic snog, but to hear they've had a kiss, it's not great," Lewis admitted.

"But I'm confident in the relationship me and Nicole have, I'm confident that we share something that doesn't come around everyday," he continued. "I still don't like Michael. The bottom line is, people might think I have some unwarranted grudge on him, but it's not that. The boy has done wrong to me in the past."

Lewis then added: "Me and Nicole have definitely got something that, for me, I haven't shared with anyone else. I think it's the same for her and I think she may struggle to admit that because I have hurt her in the past...

"I broke her heart, but I'm here and I want to fix it and I want to make sure we move forward stronger because of it. I'm definitely confident we do have a future, I can't feel this strongly about someone and not feel that there is something there."

Lewis comments come after viewers watched him tell Nicole he wants her back.

Hoping to sway her off Mike, Lewis told her he didn't think Michael's intentions with her were genuine, claiming he won't be the one to make her happy. Instead, Lewis urged Nicole to give him another chance, telling his co-star she'd be "foolish" not to.

"All I want to know is where I stand with you because I've made it perfectly clear where you stand with me," he said. "I want you back. I have done since we broke up. I just want you to spend some time with me to see how much I have changed. I think you'd be foolish to not give me the chance to show you the person I am today... you just have to give me a chance."

Michael, meanwhile, made sure to have his say, later telling Nicole Lewis will never change. He said: "A leopard never changes its spots. He is who he is at the end of the day."

Instead, Michael told Nicole he was the nice guy she needed to make her live happily ever after.

Eek! Who will she choose???
