X Factor host Olly Murs has said he is pleased he won't be going from country to country for this year's Judges' Houses.

It was recently reported that Olly and his co-host Caroline Flack would not be attending the Judges' Houses in person, but would instead anchor proceedings from the studio. This is the first time this has happened, as previous host Dermot O'Leary used to jet across the world with the judges.

Speaking to Andy Goulding on Free Radio, Olly said: "It is amazing to think you could go to all these different destinations, but I'm actually happy we're not doing it because the jet lag and everything going to the different countries back and forth, and getting on a plane is quite a lot of work.

"I'm actually quite pleased I'm just stuck in the UK," he continued. "It's quite nice!"

As widely speculated, judge and Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw has decided to hold his Judges' Houses in Oldham.

"Grimmy is in Manchester," he said. "That's not even a joke, he actually did that! Obviously he's got radio commitments as you know. I feel sorry for him actually having to do that, but he's keeping it real!"

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has already filmed her Judges' Houses with the groups in Rome with singer-songwriter Jess Glynne as her special guest.

Rita Ora has teamed up with Meghan Trainor, and is thought to have took her girls to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Simon is thought to have held his in France for the groups category with One Direction star Liam Tomlinson.
