TOWIE newcomer Liam Blackwell calls himself the 'Indian Scott Disick', according to his co-star Pete Wicks.

We had a chat with some of our Essex favourites as the new series returned to our screens, and we were keen to get the lowdown on the newbies!

Liam made his debut in Sunday night's series opener in Marbella, and he's most definitely set his sights on singleton Ferne McCann.

Pete says he spent some time with Liam in Marbs, and the newcomer likens himself to a certain Keeping Up With The Kardaashians star...

"He's the funniest kid I've ever met in my life," Pete tells us. "Me and Lockie took him out to dinner one night and Lockie terrorised him for the entire evening. Liam just sat their giggling the whole time. He's the funniest kid and he's such a nice lad. He calls himself the Indian Scott Disick.

"Liam's got a bit of a thing for Ferne too. He's slightly obsessed with her. She's played on it but I don't think she'll go there. He said he'll take her anywhere in the world for a day...because he's caked!"

TOWIE's Liam Blackwell makes debut in TOWIM.
Aired: Sunday 4 October 2-15.

Viewers watched Liam make his debut as he joined godmother Debbie Douglas (Lydia Bright's mum) for lunch, and he instantly revealed how had his eye on Ferne,

Bobby Norris says of his new co-star: "Liam's got a lot of flanter with Ferne. He's kind of like the Essex Great Gatsby. He always rocks up in his whistle and flute and is always head to toe in smart outfits. He literally cracks me up."

TOWIE airs every Wednesday and Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
