Helping Nicola to mark her birthday milestone, Cheryl joined the Girls Aloud star and Kimberley Walsh for a night of celebrations in London.
And as their night of partying got well underway, Cheryl couldn't resist sharing a gushing tribute about the birthday girl for her Instagram followers to see.
Sharing a photo of herself, Nicola and Kimberley together inside their venue for evening, Hotel Chantelle, Cheryl told fans Nicola looked "breathtaking" for her special night. And she wasn't wrong!
Nicola looked just gorgeous sporting a daring black dress with a thigh-high slit and her long red locks in tousled waves. Cheryl, meanwhile, dazzled in a black and white striped number, while Kimberley looked just as stylish in monochrome co-ords. Beaut!
Alongside her photo, Cheryl reminisced. She said: "@lilcola looking BREATHTAKING for her 30th!!!! Aaaarrgghhhhh when did that happen? She was just 17 a minute ago. Not a better feeling in the world than dancing until it hurts with these two beauties. Happy birthday Ginge. I love you more than words."
In another post, she shared a snap of herself and Nicola hugging. Continuing her sweet tribute to her friend, Cheryl gushed: "My baby girl is all grown up, but in the most beautiful way possible @lilcola."
Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola's night together comes after they recently enjoyed a mini Girls Aloud reunion.
Just last week, the girls headed to the Pride Of Britain Awards together, and had us all itching for a rendition of 'Love Machine'. If only Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle had been there to!
Following the awards, Cheryl jetted to Rome where she has been filming Judges' Houses for The X Factor. This year, the 32-year-old is mentoring the groups and has roped in the help of Jess Glynne to help her decide on her finalists.
Rita Ora has the girls and will rely on Meghan Trainor to help her, Simon Cowell and the Overs will be joined by 1D's Louis Tomlinson and Nick Grimshaw and the boys will welcome Mark Ronson.
Last night, fans of the show watched the first Six Chair Challenge unfold. Rita was up first and viewers saw the 'Body On Me' singer feel the pressure as she whittled down her category to just six. But not without a few harsh swaps and plenty of booing from the audience.
At one point, Rita joked: "I think I'm the most hated person in the UK right now."
In the end, the starlet picked Chloe Paige, Lauren Murray, Kiera Weathers, Monica Michael, Havva Rebke and Louisa Johnson.
