The former EastEnders actress, 41, has been sober for months after a terrifying breakdown in February this year and believes her makeover - as part of a TV documentary - is the final part of her recovery to full health and happiness.
Following her tumultuous past, including a decade long battle with cocaine addiction, a divorce, the loss of her home and a miscarriage - it's certainly a miraculous turnaround.
And when we meet her at a London studio for our exclusive interview and shoot, and we have to admire Danniella's unfailing optimism.
"I've rebuilt myself on the inside, now it's time to rebuild myself on the outside," Danniella says.
But naturally, Danniella is nervous ahead of her operations - including a breast augmentation and lift to correct a capsulation in her right breast, a mini facelift and a set of veneers after losing her molars in a car accident and another two front teeth more recently.
"My drug habit has aged me and it shows through my looks," she confesses.
"I feel like an old woman and I'm ready to change. My friends have picked me up and rebuilt me over the past six months and I'm in a really good place. I can't wait to get my looks back and my career back on track".
"I've still got a way to go but I'm preparing to move into my new home and get settled again."
