Ross Kemp on possible EastEnders return: "Never say never"

Ross Kemp has kept hopes of an EastEnders return alive.

As one of the most popular character's in the soap's history, fans are forever asking when Ross will return to Albert Square as hard man Grant Mitchell.

One fan asked Ross this very question via Twitter, saying executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins should reunite the Mitchell brothers.

Ross' reply? "Never say never".

We all know Grant needs to bring back some order to the residents of Walford, right? And with Kathy back on the scene it seems only right that Phil should be reunited with his younger brother!

Ross originally left EastEnders in1999 after playing his character for nine years. He returned for a year in 2005.

He's also well-known for making a string of successful documentaries including Ross Kemp on Gangs and Extreme World.

In January, Ross was forced to rule out a return to EastEnders for the show's 30th anniversary episodes in February due to other work commitments.
