The reality star had faced prosecution following the crash back in February where her vehicle collided into two others in California. Caitlin was unhurt but one 69-year-old woman lost her life, and seven others were injured.
But it was announced on Wednesday that prosecutors have declined to charge Caitlin because there is not enough evidence for a conviction.
"We believed from the start that a thorough and objective investigation would clear Caitlyn of any criminal wrongdoing," said Blair Berk, Caitlin's attorney, in a statement. "We are heartened the district attorney has agreed that even a misdemeanor charge would be inappropriate.
"A traffic accident, however devastating and heartbreaking when a life is lost, is not necessarily a criminal matter."
Caitlin was at the wheel of a large SUV when the crash took place on 7 February in Malibu. The fatal crash occurred months before Caitlyn's transition.
