Geordie Shore star Marnie was pictured greeting her former flame outside a London party on Tuesday night (29 September), sparking the inevitable speculation of whether they are getting back together.
Not true, says Marnie.
She told The Mirror: "I'll always love him and I'll have so much respect for him forever and I was engaged to him, so that means a lot to me.
"There's no chance that we're going to get back together because I know that he knows we aren't right for each other. It's hard for me to think that but I know he's got both of our best interests at heart because we're not right for each other.
"It might be right person wrong time, I honestly don't know because I did love him."
Marnie also sent a cryptic tweet saying: "If I read one more made up story! I'm going to flip !!!!!! LIES." Referencing the Ricky story? Or something else? Her rep had no comment.
They began dating earlier this year after meeting at a National Television Awards after-party and became engaged in June when Ricky proposed in Greece while Marnie was filming Geordie Shore.
Split rumours surfaced in August, which Marnie confirmed via Twitter in September, saying: "The official end to a very important chapter in my life. Thinking positive brings positive things. Moving forward to the future... Everything happens for a reason. If something isn't meant to be, it won't be."
