New mum Rebecca Adlington took the opportunity to get all dressed up last night (28 September), joining a slew of celebrities at the Pride Of Britain Awards held in London.

Arriving for the glamorous ceremony held at the Grosvenor Hotel, Becky cut a glamorous figure as she took to the red carpet.

The Olympic Gold medallist looked truly beautiful, donning a patterned floor-length gown and styling her blonde locks into a chic updo. She toted her evening's essentials in a teeny box clutch, accessorising her awards attire with her dazzling engagement ring and wedding band on her left hand.

Cutting a solo figure, Rebecca was without her husband Harry Needs, joining the likes of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, X Factor's Caroline Flack, David Beckham and Mark Wright inside the event instead.

She and Harry tied the knot in September last year, nine months before the pair became parents for the first time.

Back in June, Rebecca gave birth to the couple's daughter, Summer. Announcing her and Harry's happy news, she gushed: "@harryneeds and I are over the moon as we welcomed our beautiful baby girl this morning. She's doing well and we're so in love!!!"

Harry, meanwhile, told fans Summer's birth was the "proudest day of his life".

Since then, Harry and Rebecca have been embracing family life and are often sharing adorable photos of their little one on social media.

We caught up with Rebecca recently and she told Reveal: "Being a mother is the best job you can have."

Gushing about parenthood, the 26-year-old admitted having a daughter has been surreal at times, but she and Harry are already itching to expand their brood.

"Yes, we definitely [want more children]," she told us. "Harry wants four, but I'm like, 'Oh, I'm not sure about that babe! It's not you that's got to push them out!'"

The Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards celebrate the achievements of truly remarkable people and airs on Thursday, 1 October at 8pm on ITV.
