Caitlyn Jenner will likely not face manslaughter charges for her involvement in a fatal car crash, according to US reports.

The reality star had faced prosecution following her involvement in a fatal car crash back in February. Caitlin was unhurt, however one woman lost her life, and seven others were injured.

Since the crash, prosecutors have been trying to determine whether they would charge Caitlyn with misdemeanour manslaughter for her role in the accident.

But according to reports from TMZ, Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, who have been assessing the case, have deemed Caitlyn's driving was negligent rather than criminal.

However, it's still possible that the District Attorney could ignore the office's conclusion and still attempt to press charges, but sources told TMZ this is very unlikely.

Despite most likely being relieved of any criminal responsibility, Caitlyn has been sued by the victim's family for negligence.

Speaking recently about her experience during the crash, the I Am Cait star said: "I remember very little about the accident. I remember it happening. That's about it... A tragedy like this, you'll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can."

She has also said she can't go into detail as it's a legal matter.
