The statement reads: "Last night's Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side was interrupted due to an incident on set. Everyone involved is fine and last night's events are currently being investigated."
It's the same statement as was issued last night but with the addition of assuring viewers all panellists are okay, following reports Vicki Michelle was taken to hospital.
Around twenty minutes before the show was scheduled to finish at midnight yesterday, viewers saw their TV screens suddenly flick from former housemate Farrah Abraham chatting on the panel to a Big Brother eye logo. When the show returned a few seconds later, host Rylan Clark would only say that due to an issue, they'd had to lose the panel for the night, but said the show would carry on without them.
Rather solemnly, he said: "Hi guys unfortunately we had to pop that up there due to a matter that happened and unfortunately we have lost our panel for the evening, but we will carry on."
Just as the show cut, Farrah had been rowing with fellow panellist Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace. Seated between them were Vicki and new evictees Jenna Jameson and Janice Dickinson. It's alleged the row escalated and a drink and chair were thrown, resulting in Vicki being injured and taken to hospital.
Vicki tweeted afterwards: "Been checked over...going home now. Bloody hurt! But thank you for worrying, I'm ok...I think!"
Nobody else involved has spoken out apart from Aisleyne, who tweeted: "Thanx for the concerned tweets I'm fine at home. There seems to be a lot of misconstrued stories, I will set the record straight I'm tired now [sic]."
Earlier in Bit On The Side, there had been tension between Farrah and Aisleyne. When Aisleyne was asked if she missed Farrah on the show, she replied: "No, I don't. Let's be honest, she was just horrible. She never took account of anything. She's a silly little girl. She's just nasty. It's one thing to stand up for yourself and be a strong woman, it's another thing to be a nasty, horrible bitch."
She then told Farrah: "You got your cheque, now go. We don't want you here. Boring. No one knows who you are." Farrah replied by saying: "I'm a young, responsible, wonderful woman. You were on regular Big Brother and you didn't even get paid."
Police are investigating the incident that caused transmission to briefly cease.
A statement read: "Hertfordshire Constabulary received a report at 10.55pm on the evening of Tuesday, September 22nd regarding an incident which is alleged to have occurred in the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood. The incident occurred a short time before the call. Officers are currently making inquiries to establish the exact circumstances of what happened and will release further details when appropriate."
