As she prepared to leave her Essex home for a few days of filming abroad, Michelle couldn't resist taking a selfie with one of her pooches, after she followed her around the house until she left.
The cute pup clearly didn't want Michelle to go. How sweet is that?
Taking to Instagram, Michelle shared her snap with fans. In it, she is pictured wearing a slogan sweater while braving the camera without her war paint. Her dog, Phoebe, can be seen cuddled up to the actress, while Michelle pulled a sad face for the camera.
Alongside her post, she said: "5am yesterday morning getting ready to go away for work for a while, everyone was in bed apart from this little one... She knew. Wouldn't leave my side. My [love], My Phebs x."
While Michelle didn't reveal exactly where she was headed, her latest selfie suggests she is already missing home.
Her current stint away will all be good practice for the 28-year-old as she is set to head off to Africa for three months in the New Year. Having landed herself a new role in BBC drama Our Girl, Michelle will be filming out in Kenya for the series that is set to return to screens in 2016.
She will play the lead role of Corporal Georgie Lane, taking over from EastEnders star Lacey Turner who starred in the show's first series as Molly Dawes.
Speaking about leaving husband Mark Wright at home for several months, Michelle told The Sun On Sunday recently: "Obviously I'll miss him and I'll miss home, but it's my first job working away properly and I'm just excited for the challenge... It'll be tough but worth it."
Ahead of jetting off this time round, Michelle did manage to fit in a date night with Mark over the weekend. Heading into the capital for a romantic dinner for two, the married couple couldn't look happier as they enjoyed a few cocktails at Sushi Samba.
Gushing about their time together, Mark told followers on Twitter: "Gotta love date night."
He and Michelle tied the knot back in May, enjoying a lavish ceremony with family and friends in Suffolk. The pair had initially got engaged in September 2013, nine months after they first met in Dubai.
Following their big day, the pair jetted off to the Maldives, before returning to Dubai to enjoy the last part of their honeymoon with their families. While away, Mark told fans being a husband was the most amazing feeling and he was "buzzing" for his and Michelle's future together as husband and wife.
Since then, Mark and Michelle have been enjoying every minute of marital bliss, with Mark's sister Jessica Wright gushing about the pair: "I've never known love like this."
