Fans can get a first look at the new series of The Apprentice in a newly-unveiled trailer.

BBC One teased the new series, which sees Lord Alan Sugar return to the boardroom with his advisors Karren Brady and Claude Littner, who has replaced Nick Hewer.

The trailer plays to the soundtrack of the Destiny's Child hit, 'Survivor', which sets the tone for what's to come.

As Karren, Lord Sugar and Claude take their seats in the boardroom, it shows the trio looking majorly unimpressed by the candidates entering the room.

Lord Sugar tells the candidates: "Nothing in my boardroom is going to protect you."

Meanwhile, the voiceover says: "Prepare yourself for the toughest series yet."

It was announced in April that Claude would be taking over from Nick, who stepped down in December 2014 after 10 years. Claude is already loved by many Apprentice viewers due to his no-nonsense grilling of the candidates at the all-important interview stage.

Meanwhile, it was announced this month that Jack Dee will host this this year's spin-off shows You're Fired! and You're Hired!
