The mum-of-five took to Instagram to have her say, after reading comments Kavana had made about the pair working on music together - even if he thinks Katie can't actually sing.
He told The Sun: "We've decided to do a duet. I mean, God bless [Katie], she can't really sing, can she? But I've said to her that I'll get her in the studio and make it sound good."
Setting the record straight, Katie has now told followers she is in the studio working on music, but a duet with Kavana will "never" happen.
Katie took a screenshot of quotes Kavana had said about her in his recent interview and shared it to her Instagram feed for fans to see.
Upset with the 'I Can Make You Feel Good' singer for making such comments, Katie said alongside her post: "I did a favour 4 @kavana_official by appearing in his music video as a favour when he asked, but NEVER discussed doing duet with him.
"This is something that will NEVER happen as infact I'm in studio recording my own tracks solo. This is why I hate doing favours as it always ends up me being used and getting hurt #nevergiveup #hardtotrustanyone."

Katie had starred in Kavana's music video for his latest single 'Deja Vu' which he released back in August. At the time, Kavana had praised Katie for getting involved, gushing she was "brilliant" in the video.
He told ITV's Lorraine: "We needed a 50s sweetheart in the video and I thought I'd drop her a text and she if she was up to it. She said, 'Yes, absolutely'. She came down to the community centre where we filmed it, no airs and graces. She was brilliant."
Katie and Kavana formed a close friendship while appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, back in January. Katie had entered as a late housemate, but still went on to win the show, beating runner-up Katie Hopkins.
Kavana, meanwhile, finished in seventh place.
He responded to Katie's claims by tweeting: "I would NEVER slag off a mate get ur facts right! [sic]... Don't we have third world problems to worry about?? #Getagrip."
