Tensions ran high in the Big Brother house yesterday following nominations, which were played on a TV screen so everybody could see. Things had already been tense between Austin and Janice following the End Of The World task, where Austin exploded at Janice for jumping off her boulder early, and she retaliated by choosing to destroy his letter from home.
Things have now escalated...
During a row with housemates, Austin told Janice: "You are a terrible example of a woman and a mother, your children would be so embarrassed, you're f**king the worst excuse for a woman ever."
Janice responded by sticking her finger up at Austin and telling him: "Kiss my ass."
Austin replied: "You're such a good mother to throw your middle fingers up on national television, you f**king embarrassment of a mother, you should be ashamed." When Janice pulled a duvet over her head, he added: "That's right, I didn't think you had anything to say, you stupid c**t.
"What an embarrassment to society, run around with your tits out and you're spreading your legs. You're just such a nasty excuse for a woman… miserable… who has to pop from reality show to reality show like you do to f**king get a pay cheque. Get a job, learn a trade, get some education, you stupid f**king b*tch."
But has he gone too far? While Austin was shouting at Janice, other housemates were discussing his behaviour - and how appalled they were.
James Hill - previously his BFF in the house - warned him: "You are letting yourself down mate, you are embarrassing yourself, you should be ashamed of yourself. You have a nice family back at home that are watching you, you should be embarrassed about how you're acting and how you're treating people."
And Natasha Hamilton added: "I've had enough of your f**king loud voice, this is what we have all the time from you!"
Bobby Davro said: "Do someone a favour and evict this man straight away because it is disgraceful."
After the explosive scenes, reality star Austin retreated to the Diary Room to vent about Janice and give his point of view. He said: "For a grown woman of her experience to sit there and say the things that she said to me, the things that she has said to Jenna. You know, she needs to be tied to the post and lashed for the things she has done."
"I have done nothing but be honest and truthful with everybody in this house and that is why from the start I wanted to share about my brother and my mum, because I'm f**king pissed off. I had to bury my brother and then send my mum to prison. I saw my mum for a week before I came to London and I come back to Huddersfield and see this amazing family that my husband has and that p*sses me off because my family is self-destructive and crumbled from within and that sh*t p*sses me off.
"Nobody can seem to realise that what I am going through. I am f**king angry and I'm sad and I am hurt by all of this, but for some reason everyone takes her side."
A tearful Austin then told Big Brother that he didn't mean to upset or disrespect his housemates because he did like and respect them. After leaving the Diary Room, he gathered the housemates together to apologise.
"I feel like an asshole," he said. "That was bang out of order to say those things. I'm not going to make excuses, it was f**ked up and inappropriate by any means, that is an understatement. It's absolutely the last things that should have come out my mouth."
Luckily for him, he has forgiving housemates. Bobby gave him a hug and said: "It's not because we don't care about you or understand your pain…dry them tears and I'll make you a cup of tea."
CBB airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
