Last night (17 September), viewers watched as Stephanie's character, Sinead O'Connor, bowed out of the Channel 4 soap.
After finding out her boyfriend Ste Hay (played by Kieran Richardson) had cheated on her with her stepbrother, a furious Sinead was seen downing a glass of wine, before taking their daughter and leaving Chester for good - scenes that have since raised eyebrows due to alcohol consumption playing a part in Stephanie's exit.
Ignoring such criticism, however, Stephanie took to Twitter following the episode to address her last scenes. She told fans she has "never been happier".
Reminiscing about her time playing Sinead, Stephanie tweeted: "Not watched but hope u all enjoyed my last episode! Bye Sinead, it's been a journey! On to the futureeeeee never been happier! #exciting."
She then teased other ventures may be in the pipeline, writing in a second tweet: "Sat smiling with my baby @SamReece so happy, content and excited."
Fans were quick to comment after the starlet bid her goodbye to Hollyoaks, insisting that Stephanie will be missed.
One user wrote: "So sad you're leaving, on to bigger things xx." While another follower tweeted: "Can't believe you're not going to be in anymore!!! Nooooo."

Stephanie's exit comes after she was sacked from Hollyoaks back in July.
Shortly after her axing was made public, the 22-year-old's agent confirmed she was let go by show bosses after turning up to work late and drunk. As a result, her contract was terminated with immediate effect.
Their statement read: "Stephanie's contract was terminated following warnings for lateness, attendance and after a final incident in which she turned up to set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption."
Stephanie, meanwhile, urged fans not to believe everything they read after the news broke.
She tweeted: "I have no problems don't believe everything you read. I'm staying quiet and rising above it. I know what's true and what's not. I'm all good xx."
