The fashion designer spoke to Reveal at last night's Cosmopolitan #FashFest in partnership with Visa, where she was looking absolutely a-mazing in a burgundy low hem top from Evans.
Gemma, who quit the show this summer, told us: "I absolutely love the show. I am TOWIE. I don't think you can get anymore TOWIE than me. It's like I haven't left, though. I speak to the guys more now. I get text messages every day saying, 'Where are you? It won't the same without you!'
"I know they are filming in Marbella next week. I will be there in spirit with them! It won't be the same without the GC stirring it up! But it was a natural progression for me to move on."
We asked Gemma if she was happy with how she left the show, following last series' storylines: "I didn't know at the time I was going to go. I did have a rough ride in the last series. But it's like EastEnders. If you see Ian Beale and Jane having a cup of tea every day being all happy, you would get bored!"
Gemma added: "It's like anything, it's a job. I did it for four years and sometimes in order for us to grow and better ourselves, you need to go in a different direction. I wanted to try different things for a bit and find out who I am. I was only 30 when I got on the show and never dreamed in my life I would become famous. To go on the show and have all eyes on you is really weird, so after four years I needed a break. But I will always love it."
