Despite seeming nothing but loved-up for the majority of the time they have been dating, it seems Fran and Diags failed to convince a certain few their romance was actually genuine.
While we've never doubted 'Friags', it's nice to know that now neither do the Twitter'verse. Taking to the social media site earlier today, Fran admitted she loves that people have now become more accepting of herself and her boyfriend.
I love that I don't get asked if me and @JamesBennewith are real anymore, took a year and half but it's lovely not to get asked that now☺️❤️— Francesca Parman (@Franparman) September 16, 2015
She tweeted: "I love that I don't get asked if me and @JamesBennewith are real anymore, took a year and half but it's lovely not to get asked that now."
On seeing her post, Fran's followers were quick to reassure her they never thought any different. One user commented: "Never doubted you two for a minute, lovely couple." While another said: "It's blatantly obvious you're a genuine couple."
Friags first stole our hearts when TOWIE fans realised Diags had fallen for Fran last year. At the time she was dating his bestie Tom Pearce, but after mustering up the courage, the Essex boy finally confessed his true feelings for his co-star... albeit dressed as cheese (or more a cardboard box with the word cheese scrawled across it).
He told Fran: "You're the best thing that's come into my life so far. You don't understand how long I've been wanting to say something to you, how long I've been dying to say something to you and tell you how much I liked you. I couldn't. There was never a time where I could say anything."
Luckily for him, Fran was quick to prove the feeling was mutual, kissing Diag's and kicking off their love story. N'aww.
Since then, the couple's relationship has gone from strength to strength. Fran and Diags are now living together and the pair celebrated their first anniversary back in March.
At the time, Fran gushed: "A year today with my best friend @JamesBennewith happy anniversary. Love you to bits #friags."
More recently, Diags shared a Friags update with fans, insisting everything is "still blissful" between himself and his girlfriend. Catching up with his co-star Chloe Sims, Diags told her: " "It is blissful. It's going well at the moment. It's good, very good."
