At the end of August, Jodie surprised us all by announcing she had wed in secret. Nobody had known the 36-year-old was in a relationship, but she finally came clean that she had married the love of her life during an intimate beach ceremony.
Since revealing her happy news, Jodie has been basking in marital bliss and has kept fans updated on her and James' first few weeks of married life with plenty of honeymoon snaps.
Still currently sunning herself in Barbados with her husband, Jodie has now shared even more photos from her honeymoon album and to say we're a little bit jealous is an understatement.
In a slew of Twitter posts over the last week, Jodie has been gushing about married life. Not only has she described James as "her world", Jodie told fans she is feeling nothing but "pure happiness" while enjoying her "perfect honeymoon" in Barbados.
She's totally besotted, isn't she?
In her new photos, Jodie can be seen beaming from ear-to-ear while soaking up the sunshine with James. As well as making the most of the white sandy beaches, the newlyweds have been trying their hand at paddle boarding along with enjoying many a lavish dinner in the holiday resort.
They couldn't look more loved-up!
After revealing on social media that she is now married, Jodie has made sure to fill her followers and friends in on all the details.
Shortly after her wedding announcement, Jodie shared the first photos from her big day, showing herself and James as they tied the knot on the beachfront. Instead of your traditional wedding dress, Jodie opted for a bridal white jumpsuit - more fitting for a Barbados wedding!
While many were unaware that Jodie and James were even an item, the now turned documentary maker revealed why she had chosen to keep their engagement and nuptials a secret. Even from her close friends.
Penning an open letter on Instagram, she said: "To all my friends: you mostly know this man as Drogo, to me he is the most perfect man that ever lived. I'm so sorry I kept our wedding secret from you all, the reason we did is this:
"We love each other so much and we wanted to get married for US, not for anyone else. We didn't want a big fancy do, nor did we want a fuss or any attention. We wanted a simple, intimate, beautiful ceremony.... we believe in true love and we wanted our wedding to be about US and nothing else."
"I am so happy we chose to do it this way... I am the happiest, luckiest lady in the whole world. I have truly found my soul mate!"
Jodie - who had been known for being celibate for the last few years - then added: "And just a little FYI - I did actually remain celibate until he put a ring on my finger. Girls, the right one really WILL wait for you."
